Professor Zavuga is a unique writer, composer,teacher and Mass music festival organiser who started the AIM-Africa music festivals 2010-2020 in the Pearl of Africa-Uganda after the company registration as a close corporation Johannesburg-South African intended to use “mass music festivals” in reforming the African cultural values required for Development. Prof. Zavuga studied music in Ruhija Music Academy in Tanzania and Arts ten Music University in Stockholm Sweden, working and staying in Johannesburg South Africa for 17years

Vision

Aim Africa music festivals will be a World class music literacy provider to transform the social economic status of the Uganda (Pearl of Africa), the Great Lakes Region and Africa, for the prosperity of all Africans in and outside the Continent.

Directors' Speech



Established in January 2011 Global Challenge Ministries Uganda is a community
based nonprofit making Organization registered in Uganda as a Non Government
Organization considering God at the centre.
Global challenge Mission statement;
To offer experiential learning tools which facilitate children and youths to face real
life issues while acquiring a global perspective and a deeper understanding of the
complexities of life.
Goal;
To offer a platform for children and the youths to appreciate, learn and share multicultural
norms and knowledge through practical education, discipleship training and
community initiatives which will foster character transformation, problem solving
leadership, natural stewardship and become wholly responsible citizens who believe
in God, equitable opportunities and justices for all.
Objectives;
To provide functional education to achieve social economic transformation to
different communities,
To provide practical education to the youth and school drop outs in support of
community service initiatives.
To provide a platform for the government to address the millennium development
goals through our pre-determined activities.
To provide opportunities to children and youths who are unable to access basic
education due to lack of school fees and scholastic materials, neglect and other
reasons through the sponsorship scheme.
African Cultural Value Reformers Intercessory Musicians/ AIM-Africa Music festivals, in partnership with
Global Challenge Ministries Uganda suggest the following interventions in addressing
the problems among the youth and children in all districts of its program operational
areas for the initial programs.
Program area 1; Entrepreneurship and Employability Program.
Strategies;
 International exchange programs for music teachers
 Employability training
 Peer education and training and out reaches
 Discipleship
 Leadership Conferences and training
 Small business grants programs
 Small business research and development
 Vocational training
Purpose;
The purpose of the program is to provide music literacy services to the people of
Uganda, the Great Lakes region, and Africa as a whole for the development of the
music industry. Including the creation of music jobs and business opportunities to
achieve social economic transformation for different communities.
Nnalongo Grace K Ssemakula
Program Co-coordinator;
She has a professional back ground in Public Administration and Management
with a Bachelors Degree. She is responsible for the program operation and
communications. She is a veteran of the Uganda Red Cross Society Disaster
Management Program, Founder and executive director of Camp Counselor
International Uganda. Served as the recruiter for the International YMCA ICCP
New York Exchange programs, and a director of Global Challenge Ministries
Uganda.
